As part of BUEB’s Day of Hungarian Science, this international conference united academics, industry experts, and policymakers from a wide range of fields to examine how digitalisation and artificial intelligence are reshaping society, the economy, culture, and science. By encouraging cross-disciplinary dialogue, the event sought to provide deeper insights into both the opportunities and the challenges presented by these fast-evolving technologies.

The conference’s session entitled ‘Ageing Well in an Ageing Society’ was focused on Prosperitas’ coming special issue on best-practice solutions to challenges posed by an ageing population to be published in 2026.
