OPTIONS FOR POST-PUBLICATION DISCUSSIONS AND CORRECTIONS
In line with the guidance provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and to maintain the integrity of scientific research, Prosperitas carries out investigations regarding the concerns raised by authors and/or readers.
In some cases, this may involve the reviewers re-evaluating the original manuscript, including original data with experts, in order to carry out an investigation.
During the investigation, Editorial Expressions of Concern (EEoC) may be published to notify the readers about the criticism received in respect of the published article as recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Following the outcome of the investigation, where warranted, a Corrigendum may be published and/or an Editor’s Note and the article may be retracted, corrected or revised. In cases where it is evident from the investigation that there has been serious misconduct, such as fraud, the institution of the author(s) shall be informed about the matter.
