PLAIN LANGUAGE SUMMARIES
What Are Plain Language Summaries?
There is a consensus that scientific information should be more accessible to a broader audience, including business people, academics and students, as well as the general public.
Prosperitas wants to make your studies available and gain greater visibility through the use of Plain Language Summaries.
These summaries use everyday language and avoid technical language and jargon that block out a wider audience.
The Plain Language Summaries are published on the Prosperitas website in approachable, non-technical language, in both Hungarian and English. They are written by the authors of the original publication, and are required to be submitted as a part of the submission process.
It is highly recommended to have your Plain Language Summary reviewed by at least one person from a non-scientific background, and the journals editorial team are available for assistance. Their contact details can be found in the section ‘About the Journal’

- Just consider 3 areas: What is this summary about (2-3 sentences)? Why is this research important? What are the key takeaways?
